There were so many pics of Jaz that I loved I thought I would break them up. These are her senior pictures I took before she left. She doesn’t look like the typical home-schooled girl, right? No socialization skills lacking here either.

I don’t actually have any pictures to post today because my camera batteries were dead and I forgot to charge them. But I had to write about my day because I don’t want to forget it. The problem is, it’s indescribable. I know it’s happiness but how can it all be summed up by one word? There are many words and yet none seem to do it justice.
There was nothing spectacular about today. We weren’t jet-setting the world. We’re not swimming in money. In fact, sometimes we barely have any. But we were simply together. Me, my husband and my boys. And I just can’t get over how much I love them and how happy they make me.
Today, we went to the Del Mar Fair. I remember loving the fair when I was younger (since I’m still young : ). Then it wasn’t so much fun anymore. Ever since fair rides make me sick I really had no reason to go beside eating anything fried you can think of. The deep fried oreo’s are my fav. But now that we have kids, I had a blast!!! I know it’s been said over and over again how when you have kids, you get to relive your childhood. It’s just so true. You try to make their dreams come true. You think about the things you loved as a child and gift those memories and traditions to your kids. And you think about how you can do even more. And as I’m busy trying to make their dreams and imaginations real, they are actually making my dreams come true.
So we made a big deal on our way to the fair and Evan was so excited and once we were there, we just made everything a big deal. Like, “Oh, LOOK, Evan!!! There’s a helicopter! Let’s get on it! You and Me!” And we would. It was just a rinky-dink plastic enclosure that went round and round a 10 foot parameter operated with the push of a button by a sort of shady guy. But to Evan, that helicopter was larger than life and it flew.
I wonder if someday he will recount his day to his children and tell them how we ran to the lemonade stand to get fresh-squeezed lemonade and later shared an ice cream cone as we walked to the petting zoo. How we rode the train, the airplanes and the big o big trucks that were a truck version of the helicopters while daddy and baby brother waved every time we passed. I wonder if he noticed that my knees were up to my chin. Hopefully, he won’t remember how a sheep “Baaad’ so loudly in his face, he cried. Or the rooster who chomped at his fingers through the cage and also made him cry.

Liam has been sitting for a little while now but he’s gotten more and more steady. So I sat him by evan this morning and I was watching them I realized it was a picture perfect moment. It was one of the first times that they were actually playing together… well, I mean as much as Liam can since he is still little. The older he gets the more they will do this. I felt a little bad for Evan though because he would build a castle with the blocks only to have them knocked down by Liam. ”No, No, baby brother,” he would say.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.
“Faith is beliving that what hasn’t yet happened will happen. Fear is believing that what hasn’t yet happend will happen.”

It’s been two weeks since Liam was born. And it’s been two weeks since I’ve cooked a meal. So I found myself in the kitchen just now, wondering what’s for dinner. I was spoiled.
My auntie Judy came over one day and made 4 meals in one day. Then our friends came by with food every night. Auntie Nancy, who I call, Naunt and Evan calls Ati, stopped by in the mornings to play with Evan. Thanks everyone for being so awesome.
